Here’s a painting I did on location last weekend when we filmed my new Video Podcast (This will be released on Patreon very soon – Phil is on to it!)
I was sitting on the coastal path after walking from Porthtowan, and the view is looking towards Chapel Porth Beach, St Agnes.
It was very high up, and I’m not keen on heights – or sheer drops for that matter! However, the view was simply breathtaking, the sunshine was glorious, and I stayed focused on the subject of my painting!
I used warm colours for my watercolour painting to reflect the sunny autumnal day. We will be going back soon to film a Diary of a Coastal Composer show from here, as (Thanks to Sheila!) I have found out about some interesting legends about this location. I have new music simmering in my mind too…
Hope you like it, and have a lovely rest of the weekend! Thanks – as always – for your continued support X
