Here’s a sketch I did on location at the gorgeous little beach at Trebah gardens, near Falmouth, Cornwall. It was a few weeks ago, and was quite mild sitting on the stone wall looking out to sea. There were a few boats, and the red buoys were bobbing about. On the left, on the hillside, is a quaint cottage. What a lovely view they must have every day! It was while I was sketching with my watercolour pencils, that I was visited by a friendly little robin, who flew past me and sat next to me on the wall while I did my art! I added some water to the sketch when I got home, to create a more intense colour for the sea. Hope you like it! X
I will add a picture I created from the Tea Rooms now, showing the view from the window – (this will be for Patrons only).
